​Backgammon Doubles Partners can be either a woman and a man; or two women. One division; Intermediate players are encouraged to partner with an expert player.

A Little History of the WWB Doubles Tournament
The tournament was first played in 2022, when invited teams squared off and WWB showcased some of the matches so women could learn from watching pairs play. It was a resounding success, and so we expanded it in 2023 to include both an Intermediate division, and open entry. In the first three years it was Mixed Doubles, but this year, due to the success of so many women in improving their play it is now an open doubles tournament where we hope women will pair up with each other to compete. Mixed doubles of a woman and a man team are also permitted. It's great backgammon play, and conversation between team-members that will educate the spectator. Enter. Watch. Share.

Deadline for completion of Round 1 – May 8
Deadline for completion of Round 2 – May 18 (buy-backs and Round 1 winners)
Deadline for completion of Round 3 – June 1
Semi-final matches – June 3-9
Final Match – June 17 or 18
