We’re delighted to invite interested women to play in the 5th Online WWB Doubles Event! Women may team up with either a man or another woman. There will be one division, and we especially encourage Intermediate-level women to partner with an Open-level player.

The $100 entry fee from every team goes entirely into the prize pool, along with WWB's additional $1,000. Prize money is distributed as follows:

The total prize pool depends on the final number of paid entries.
Tournament Format & Rules
- Format: Single elimination; no buy-backs; maximum 32 teams.
- Matches: 9-point matches.
- Where: Heroes3.BackgammonStudio.com, WWB Doubles Tournament Room.
- Clock: 15 seconds per play plus 27 minutes of reserve time.
- Brackets: Hosted on Challonge; the bracket link will be shared after registration closes.
Scheduling your matches
Once the bracket is released, each team is responsible for contacting its opponents, arranging a match time, and completing the match by that round's deadline. Participant contact information will be provided. Coordinate by phone or WhatsApp, and remember to account for different time zones. There is no single scheduled tournament play time.
Partners may consult with each other during matches using WhatsApp or cell phone.
Submit the agreed date and time so we can consider selected matches for WWB Zoom Watch Parties and learning sessions.
Submit Scheduled Match TimeSelected matches may be featured as WWB Learning Sessions, where spectators can listen to partners discuss checker plays, cube decisions, and strategy. Follow the WWB YouTube channel for tournament coverage.
Entry Fee & Payment
The team entry fee is $100. Only one registration per team is required. Please send the team payment to Karen Davis using one of the following methods:

Submitting the form does not itself collect payment. Registration is subject to the 32-team limit and payment confirmation.
