WWB Tournaments
The Women’s World of Backgammon (WWB) Invitational Cup is a premier online tournament created to showcase the top women players in the world.
It is an invite-only event featuring elite competitors
Typically played as a Swiss - Double Elimination
The event brings together 16 top female players globally
Coming October 2026...The Women’s World of Backgammon Doubles Tournament brings players together in a collaborative format that highlights teamwork, communication, and strategic partnership.
As part of WWB’s continued mission to expand opportunities for women in the game, this event offers a unique and engaging way to compete, connect, and grow within the global backgammon community.

Players Cup Backgammon transforms previously standalone BMAB (Backgammon Masters Awarding Body) events into an annual circuit, creating a thrilling and interconnected series for backgammon enthusiasts. Events are generally hosted at events hosted at premier backgammon tournaments.
New York Metropolitan Open

Cherry Blossom Backgammon Championship

Beautiful time in nation’s capital; $5000 added money in U.S. Backgammon Federation National Championship event. $250 added money for women going furthest in ABT Championship, Advanced, Intermediate, and Novice divisions.
Charlotte Invitational - WWB Cup

Los Angeles Open - Wonder Woman

The tournaments hosted by Gammon Associates West are long-standing and respected events within the U.S. backgammon community, highlighted by the annual California State Championship. These tournaments bring together players of all levels for several days of competitive match play, side events, and community connection, offering a well-organized and welcoming environment for both seasoned competitors and newer players.
Additional Tournament Support
When possible, Women's World of Backgammon will be hosting events such as tables at awards dinners or cocktail hours during tournaments, giving female players a chance to meet, catch up, and talk all things backgammon and otherwise!
