About the Event
Two of the world’s strongest women players – two-time Backgammon World Champion Akiko Yazawa from Japan and Josefin Bichler from Germany -- faced off in the first round of the Super Jackpot of the 1st Backgammon Festival in Aachen Germany in August. They put in world-class performances with both playing at the 3 PR (Performance Rating) level.
The Women’s World of Backgammon (WWB) Learning Session will be held Tuesday, October 8 at Noon Eastern U.S. time (1800 CET).
Please join us for a review of their match with the players providing comments on their thinking over the board and after reflecting on the eXtreme Gammon analysis – Josefin will join us in person and Akiko will share comments to be read by BMAB Master and WWB Board member Irina Litzenberger. Grandmaster Marty Storer will moderate the discussion and provide his insights.
