Our monthly Zoom takes place on the second Tuesday of each month. For our April session, Jonah Seewald and Kara Schultz will take us through a three-point match followed by a 1/2 Q&A.

About the Event
These events are an amazing opportunity to see two of the best players in action. And, fun too!
Kara Schultz has skyrocketed to the top levels of backgammon since winning the California State Novice division in 2018. She won the first U.S. Women’s National Championship in 2020 and a spot on the Women’s USA Team. The team won the Genud Cup against the UK Women’s Team. She won the 2022 NY Metro Lady Liberty Cup, garnering the Women in Backgammon cash prize and a backgammon travel board, as well as capturing the NY Metro Limited Jackpot. She and her coach Jonah Seewald won the Doubles event at the 2021 Wild West Shootout. She has done well in ABT Online! events as well – winning the 2020 LA Open Online Advanced division, 3rd/4th in the Beale Street Blues Online in 2021 and tied for 3rd in the 2020 Denver Wild West Open.
Jonah Seewald is an outstanding teacher, consummate student of the game, and player. He has a long string of major backgammon event wins including the 2021 Geoffrey Parker $5K Super Jackpot in Las Vegas; the 2020 Texas Malcolm Davis Longhorn Masters Jackpot; the 2019 Texas ABT Championship, and the 2022 Minnesota Open Online Masters Jackpot. He and Kara Schultz won the Doubles event at the 2021 Wild West Shootout.
