These events are an amazing opportunity to see two of the best players in action. And, fun too!
Roberto Litzenberger is one of the foremost backgammon teaching experts. He won the 2018 Cherry Blossom Championship and was #2 in the American Backgammon Tour point race for that year. He is #39 on the latest Giants of Backgammon list (2019). He ranked 1st on the 2020 USBGF Online Master Points list and was honored at the 2021 USBGF Awards Dinner.
Irina Litzenberger is one of the top women Championship players in the U.S. She won the Battle of Sexes event at the 2021 Las Vegas Open, the Wonder Woman event at the 2021 California State Championship, and the Old Town Open Jackpot at the 2021 Chicago Classic. She was on the USA Women’s Team that won the Genud Cup against the U.K.
