Advancing Women in Competitive Backgammon
Women’s World of Backgammon champions women’s participation, visibility and excellence at every level of competitive play — creating opportunities to learn, compete, connect and succeed in the global backgammon community.
2026 WWB Doubles Tournament
The 5th Annual Women’s World of Backgammon Doubles Tournament is officially underway, with a full field of 32 teams competing online on Backgammon Studio Heroes 3.
This year’s tournament brings together women from across the backgammon community, partnering with either a woman or a man in a 9-point, single-elimination format.
With $4,200 in total prize money, including $1,000 added by Women’s World of Backgammon, the competition will continue through December as teams battle their way toward the championship.
Throughout the tournament, WWB will also be recording select matches for our YouTube channel, giving the backgammon community an opportunity to follow some of the action as the field gets smaller and the stakes get higher.
We’re excited to see some fantastic teams in this year’s field and look forward to sharing the matches, the competition and ultimately crowning our 2026 WWB Doubles Champions!
